A worked example

Seven scanned pages in. A court-ready draft out.

This is one filing put through Leveritax end to end. Nothing below is a mockup — the text, the documents it found and the draft it produced are what the live system returned.

The matter is invented. Nana Ama Asante, Kweku Boateng, the suit number and the facts are fictional. Everything Leveritax did with them - the text it read, the documents it found, the draft it produced - is real output from the live system.

STEP 1

It starts as paper

A 7-page filing, photographed and saved as a PDF. There is no text in this file at all — every character below had to be read off the image.

STEP 2

What it read

Google Vision reads each page. This is the raw result, exactly as stored — no tidying, because tidying it here would tell you nothing about what the next step actually receives.

ORIGINATING SUMMONS
LET the Defendant above named, of House No. 14 Spintex Road, Accra,
within EIGHT (8) DAYS after service of this Summons on him, inclusive
of the day of such service, cause an appearance to be entered for him to
this Summons which is issued upon the application of the Plaintiff above
named, who claims the determination of the following questions:
1.
2.
Whether or not the Defendant is in breach of the carriage
agreement dated 3rd March 2026 in failing to deliver the full
consignment of 200 bags of cocoa beans.
Whether or not the Plaintiff is entitled to recover the sum of
GHS 12,400.00 being the market value of the 40 bags not
delivered.
3. Whether or not the Plaintiff is entitled to interest on the said
sum at the prevailing commercial bank rate from 9th March
2026 until date of final payment.

Unedited. The reading order wanders where the page has two columns of text — that is what the next step has to work with.

STEP 3

It found three documents, not one

A filing is rarely one document. Leveritax works out where each begins and ends before it drafts anything, so a summons is not quietly blended into the affidavit behind it.

ORIGINATION SUMMONS

page 7

The certificate came back as unlisted — there is no template for it in the library, and it says so rather than forcing it into the nearest match. Page 3 was a near-blank divider and was kept with the summons it followed.

STEP 4

It pulled out the caption

Court, registry, suit number and parties, read once and applied consistently across every document in the filing — so the three do not disagree with each other.

CourtHIGH COURT OF JUSTICE
DivisionCOMMERCIAL DIVISION
RegistryACCRA
Suit numberCM/0331/2026
Year2026

It also recorded that the pages described the parties two different ways — once with the trading names, once without. Where documents disagree, the disagreement is kept rather than silently resolved.

STEP 5

The draft

Court heading, parties block, numbered paragraphs, jurat and service footer — laid out in Ghana High Court form and downloadable as a Word file you edit like any other.
